Founded in 2006, My Black Is Beautiful (MBIB) is a community-driven platform created by a group of visionary Black women to empower, celebrate, and spark meaningful conversations around beauty, bias, and their cultural impact. With over 2.5 million members, MBIB has become a driving force for social change, advocating for the celebration of Black culture and beauty.
In 2019, MBIB expanded its impact with the launch of a hair care collection designed specifically for Black women, reflecting a deep understanding of their unique needs and preferences in hair care. Powered by Procter & Gamble’s commitment to social good, MBIB partners with P&G and its portfolio of trusted brands to uplift Black culture through the lens of Black beauty.
The brand underwent a visual overhaul to create a more inclusive and engaging experience, transforming it from an information-based platform into a dynamic, community-focused space. This redesign enhanced weekly customer relationship management (CRM) efforts, resulting in increased engagement and interaction with the brand.
